Living coral, this piece was on the beach still very alive.
A very painful blue bottle jellyfish was washed up on the shore.
Boxing day, and this is how busy the beach gets! Christmas day it was just us!
Derek and Mike enjoying the lightning show last night.
The light changed drastically, it usually does before lightning starts to strike.
The water was crystal clear for the few days we headed out to snorkel. It was stunning!
We definitely enjoyed our christmas this year in the sun. Mike’s brother and cousin’s came out to stay. Along with my friend Derek and a couple from Perth. We all suffered together. It was 44 degrees.
Over the few days, egg nog was made for Derek and I to remind us of home. Turkey and pork roast with crackling were had. Gifts were exchanged and plenty of beer and rum were consumed. We splashed around in the ocean, snorkelled for fish, and Jacque Cousteau’d through some rock holes underwater.
Today we returned to toiling around the farm weathering the heavy sun. When suddenly…
The temperature dropped 15 degrees, flooded the farm and broke a lot of trees!
I’ve finally stopped sweating.
