Love Land For Wildlife is a not for profit wildlife rehabilitation centre and B&B about 40 minutes from us.  We’ve visited once last year shortly after Lena died.  They raise injured or abandoned kangaroo’s and  release them, so I signed on to help.

We popped in today to say hello, and see how they were going.  It turns out they’d been trying to reach me, and were glad we turned up, as they were needing some extra hands.  I’m not sure how soon we’ll be receiving the little joey’s but I’m so excited to be helping!

Ken, whom we have spent some time with during both visits, is very passionate and has been amazing in showing us the newest additions, and some oldies.  The released kangaroo’s frequently return, and whats more amazing is that Ken can point out and name each one as it turns up!

I’ve been feeling really sad thinking about Lena lately, and so this really recharged my heart and soul.

  1. Thanks Jasmine! The flower was found on the farm, it’s my favourite one that I found over the past year. If you want to see more I’ve got a page dedicated to the wildflowers out here on my website (www.redterrain.com).
