These are some of the images that were taken during our trip last week, I don’t know the names of everything for certain at this point.

It’s the long weekend here in Western Australia.  I hope you’re all out and about enjoying the sunshine too!

I’ll be catching up with friends and soaking up some sun – my alabaster body needs some vitamin d stat!

What will you be doing with all this free time?

  1. Enjoy your long weekend, ours is next weekend. But I have made the most of this one, dinner with friend watch the sunset over tree covered rolling hills in Friday, theatre in Brisbane to watch the incredible production of Beautiful One Day, if it comes to your area do not miss it, and today a BBQ and catch up with old friends and ex-neighbours. And zero housework done ✔️

      • No blog post at the moment, but go to Beautiful One Day. It is an amazing production that cover so much history as well as the Palm Island events of 2004. Incredibly powerful, the theatre audience was in total silence for the entire show sitting on the edge of our seats. I spent most of the time with my hands at my mouth in that sort of shock response pose or in the sort of prayer position. Standing ovation.
A must see production that realistically was most like playing to an audience of the converted so to speak, but I learned so much about the detail of the history and the reality of living “under the Act”

    • Hey Laura,

Send me a text – I’m at 0475 507 711. 🙂 We’re ok in Perth but yes it’s horrible what’s happening in Esperence. Hope to hear from you soon. Insta – I felt I was using it wrong!! ahah I was torn between sharing private life or only showing pretty pictures. In the end I decided to just focus on the blog. I’d love to hear from you and if this message doesn’t get to you I’ll track you down through Emily. Xo
